LILY'S BIG GIRL TEETH

Paul and Lily hanging out in my studio.

Lily's getting her big girl teeth.

I can't believe that we've had Lily for almost 2 months already! She is such a sweetheart. She and Sophie get along so well, which makes me happy. They play like wild things. She weighed less than 2 pounds when we got her and last week at the vet she weighed in at 4.5 pounds! The vet doesn't think she'll be a very big cat though. She was growing like a weed, but that seems to have slowed a bit. She has really long legs and an extremely long tail and she talks a lot. Last week, she started chewing on everything, including us. The vet thought she was starting to get her adult teeth, and sure enough, this week they sprouted. In the second photo, if you look closely you can see her new canine teeth coming in in front of the baby canine. How cool is that? I wish I could find them when they fall out. They'd make cool earrings, don't you think?

Thank you Cris to share with those lovely moment with Lily, it touches my heart.
Beautiful photos of her and her new teeth. It reminds me when my baby cat lost her baby teeth, i found it on the floor and was horrified, i believe she fight with another cat and lost one of her teeth. The vet said, no it is normal, she is a baby cat and her adult teeth are coming in. I was a bit ashamed of my ignorance.
Concerning the earrings, may be ;-)
but not sure.

Had to laugh! Only artists collect such strange things for jewelry. My family collects all sorts of weird things for me as they know I imagine them as cool art.

Oh, look at Paul and Lilly! Paul, at least gets to type on his MAC when Lilly is on his lap! My girls do not allow that! Leia flings herself into my lap and Bella just gets blissful by kneeding me(we call it fluffing!)
I find shed nails all over their posts. Lilly is developing a beautiful pattern!

So true Vickie! I have a whole collection of the weird that I'm determined to use some day. Wouldn't it be a great art show? Objects composed of all of the strange things we've collected over the years.
She lost the teeth yesterday and my sister happened to find one of them, so who knows?

Two cuties in the studio...three if you count the beauty behind the camera. I think we need to design some type of laptop holder so both the cat and the laptop can be accessable. Sophia Josephina crawls up on my chest now.
